In order to do so, we sought to detect the needs of the target public in question, to know the reality of the local market and the existing buildings aimed at this public, to ensure conditions of environmental comfort and to promote spaces for collective coexistence. The co-living is a new way of living that has become a trend in great cities of the world, appearing as a very attractive option for university students and young professionals. As a result of the shared economy and originated in a Danish movement of the 70's called cohousing, the co-living arises to meet the specific needs of this neglected market niche. It is necessary to be attentive to the new ways of living and to realize that before the diversity existing today it is no longer possible to satisfactorily meet all individuals reproducing the same real estate standards as always. Currently the local real estate market lacks housing options developed exclusively for the public in question and the existence of a growing demand was recognized during the first surveys conducted. Initially, a research was developed on the subject and also studies and analyses of correlates were made. After the construction of the problem through the project dilemmas, the concept and the program of the project were developed, only to define the terrain and know its environmental and legal conditions. Based on these data, a research study of layout and spatial organization of housing units was initiated, selecting and evaluating ideas, in order to arrive at a better definition of the proposal. The design process was thus gradually being constructed and mapped, aiming at more awareness and less automation, and thus, not focusing exclusively on the final product. Besides the importance of this design register, the work sought to study the resources used in the architectural project to enhance socialization in shared environments.
