The act of collaboration is understood here as work that begins with the construction of the first compositional gestures, passing through rehearsals and discussions, until the world premiere of the work. Being the composer's wife, the interpreter/researcher had previously collaborated with him, but had not yet documented and systematized her actions; thus, the interest in the theme arose from the need for a systematized study that addresses the practice of composer-performer collaboration, with the intent of better understanding the role of the interpreter in partnership with the composer, the possible working methods, and their practical benefits. For this, the methodology used the autoethnographic method proposed and adapted by López-Cano and Opazo (2014), along with literature review, data collection, and pianistic studies. As result, it was observed how the elaboration of the piece and its performance reflected an open dialogue between the collaborators, with the hope that its collaborative method may inspire future works of this kind, while also contributing to the documentation of the composer's work and to the dissemination of Brazilian contemporary piano music.Acesso AbertoSonata para pianoFábio NevesProcesso criativoColaboração compositor-intérpreteCasal de músicosmasterThesis
