Patriarcado, capitalismo, racismo e violência obstétrica: uma análise crítica. Orientadora: Sabrina Silva Zacaron. 2022. 55f. Trabalho de Conclusão de Curso (Graduação em Serviço Social) - Departamento de Serviço Social, Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte, Natal, 2022.https://repositorio.ufrn.br/handle/123456789/50477This work was constructed from a critical and grounded analysis of the problem of obstetric violence experienced by women and naturalized by the patriarchal and capitalist system. Furthermore, it aims to understand the relationships established between the aforementioned systems, in view of their strong and simultaneous efforts to maintain this impasse on Brazilian soil since the colonial period. In addition, this study brings a historical context to contribute to the understanding of the origin of the inferiority of the female sex in relation to male and, consequently, of the processes of violence against women. This research is guided by the method used by Marx, Dialectical Historical Materialism, to understand the social reality, through the thoughts that revolve around the transformations constituted by society, which originate the forms of organization of such a body. It is classified as exploratory, in view of the free character of information collection and construction of ideas. It was guided by a bibliographical selection, as well as usingdocumentary research to support the information related to current legislation on issues related to the gestational period and the puerperium. In addition, it was extremely important to relate to policies and projects that ensure women's rights within the entire pregnancy process. The mention of underfunding of the health policy was inevitable, in view of the commodification and scrapping of the unified health system and its consequences. During the course of the work, it is possible to highlight some indispensable clippings that intersect and make the issue of obstetric violence in Brazil even worse, such as the issue of institutional racism and the violation of women's sexual and reproductive rights. Finally, this work has as a preliminary result, in the light of obstetric violence in Brazil, the primary perception of the conditioning factors (systems) that made possible both its emergence and the maintenance of this problem. In addition, this research is expected to contribute to the mobilization of society in the sense that obstetric violence is socially and constitutionally recognized.PatriarcadoCapitalismoRacismoViolência obstréticaMulherSaúdePatriarchyCapitalismRacismObstetric violenceWomenHealthPatriarcado, capitalismo, racismo e violência obstétrica: uma análise críticabachelorThesis
