Reconstrução facial forense: percepção dos métodos tridimensional manual e digital para reconhecimento visual. 2015. 15 f. Monografia (Graduação) - Departamento de Odontologia, Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte, Natal, 2015.https://repositorio.ufrn.br/handle/123456789/39263Forensic facial reconstruction is a technique employed to assist human identification in human remains that were not previously identified by traditional methods. Through it can carry out the recognition of individuals reported missing, demonstrating their social and legal importance. Logo is relevant to know which of its two main methods currently used manual and three-dimensional digital is more accurate for estimating, sex, ancestry and age. The study aims to reconstruct the face of a skull Unidentified forensic institute the state of Rio Grande Do Norte, determine the correlation between the threedimensional facial reconstruction techniques for visual recognition of generic factors identification, verify the perception of observers about the similarity of reconstructions and technology that best characterizes the sex of the skull. It was determined the skull biological profile then held reconstructions. 40 examiners were enrolled from which the data was obtained and subsequently descriptive analysis in the EPI INFO program. In the manual technique 63% and 37.5% respectively determined the correct age and sex of the skull, as to digital were obtained 92.5% and 57.5% respectively. The population affinity had similar results with 45% and 42.5% of observers relating faces a brown color individual. The perception when what better technique reproduces the sexual characteristics 72.5% chose the digital technique. It can be concluded that the threedimensional digital easy reconstruction gives a more realistic reproduction of the facial features, thus yielding a result more satisfactory.openAccessAntropologia ForenseOdontologia LegalReconstruçãoFaceReconstrução facial forense: percepção dos métodos tridimensional manual e digital para reconhecimento visualForensic facial reconstruction: Perception of manual and digital three-dimensional methods for visual recognitionbachelorThesis
