Aim: To assess the functional capacity, sleep quality, and grip strength of individuals diagnosed with chronic kidney disease undergoing hemodialysis. Methods: An observational, analytical, descriptive, quantitative study was conducted on individuals undergoing hemodialysis at the Clínica de Nefrologia Santa Rita, aged between 30 and 75 years, residing in Santa Cruz/RN. All included participants underwent medical history assessment, functional tests, the 6-Minute Step Test (6MST), 1-Minute Sit-to-Stand Test (1MSTS), Manual Dynamometry, and responded to the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI). The Shapiro-Wilk test was used, and sample values are expressed as mean and standard deviation, categorical data, absolute and relative frequencies. Results: Ten participants were evaluated, showing reduced functional capacity in the 6MST and 1MSTS, averaging 71.3% and 44.2%, respectively. There was also a decrease in muscle strength, averaging 70.9% of the predicted value, and half of the sample presented poor sleep quality.
