However, these sectors face challenges due to the reliance on manual processes for evaluating shrimp and their larvae, leading to slow and inefficient operations. Given this scenario, this study proposes the development of a technological solution to automate the processing and analysis of digital images of shrimp larvae using Digital Image Processing (DIP) techniques. The goal is to optimize the process of extracting characteristics and identifying larvae, providing greater speed, accuracy, and quality in operations. The implementation of this methodology aims to strengthen the shrimp production chain, increasing competitiveness in both national and international markets.
