Such equipment can range from the most common, such as canes and wheelchairs, to the most elaborate, such as powered walkers and the so-called smart walkers. In view of such equipment and given the difficulties faced by people with such mobility difficulties, in this Course Completion Work, the construction of the mechanical system of an intelligent walker was carried out. This work aims to develop the mechanical design and physical construction of an intelligent walker used to help people with walking difficulties.
