Therefore, knowing and monitoring the condition of machines has become increasingly important. This paper proposes the development and implementation of a Predictive Maintenance Plan based on vibration techniques in an air compressor in a textile company, considering that this is strategic, since it has a direct impact on production. The concepts used to prepare this paper cover topics such as tribology, maintenance management, predictive techniques, as well as air compressor and the company in which the machine is inserted. In this sense, the Predictive Maintenance Plan for the Air Compressor was developed through several stages, which includes the division of the machine into TAG levels, equipment and components, as well as all points to be monitored by the vibration technique, parameters considered acceptable for the practice of planned activities and periodicity. In addition, the use of this plan in the company studied provides a basis for better planning and control of the Maintenance Planning and Control sector, considering some of the shortcomings that were encountered during the preparation of this paper, such as the opening of erroneous Maintenance Orders or registration of employees' work hours in other documents.
