This is an integrative review, whose search took place in August 2021, in the EMBASE, CINAHL, MOSAICO via BVS and MEDILINE via PUBMED® and BVS databases. To answer the guiding question: “Do PICS offer benefits to women's health? If so, which ones?” original research articles from the last 5 years were included, which met the research objective. Case reports, reflections, review articles and studies that focused on other themes were excluded. Searches in the searched databases resulted in 4031 references. After the exclusions, 35 studies were selected to be read in full, from which 19 manuscripts were selected to compose the sample, grouped in turn by six thematic axes: "Benefits of PICS's for the health of the female genitourinary system ”, “Benefits of PICS's for well-being in the menstrual period”, “Benefits of PICS's for the health of menopausal women”, “Benefits of PICS's in the gestational period”, “Benefits of PICS's in the health of women with cancer" and "Benefits of PICS's on female mental health". The studies evaluated pointed out the benefits of PICS for the maintenance of women's health in their life cycle, in addition to having a low cost benefit, women's autonomy in the health-disease process, good acceptance by the population in question and low adverse reactions.Saúde da MulherTerapias ComplementaresSaúde ColetivaAlém da medicina tradicional: benefícios das práticas integrativas e complementares na saúde da mulherBeyond traditional medicine: benefits of integrative and complementary practices in women's healthbachelorThesis
