Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte. 2025.https://repositorio.ufrn.br/handle/123456789/65021This Final Course Work for the Degree in Theater is presented in the form of a memorial that weaves the crossroads in the training of a teacher-artist, considering the relationships between pedagogical practices and theatre aimed at children, promoting qualitative Art Education, interspersed with the experiences of a graduate student in Theatre. Along this path, each experience — whether on school stages, through exchanges and experiences in Supervised Teacher Training Internships, carried out at the Centre for Childhood Education - NEI-CAp/UFRN, and within the scope of the Pedagogical Residency Programme in Theatre — constitutes living material in the construction of a teaching and artistic identity that is outlined between the sensitivity of listening, creation and ethical commitment to education. The research is developed from an artistic perspective, where the paths taken by the teacher in training meet the bodies of children in a dialogue of affections, inventions, and discoveries. In this process, children's protagonism is recognised as a driving force for a range of possibilities for artistic-pedagogical practice, valuing elements that characterise Art Education that is intended to be alive, critical and transformative. The work is rooted in the theoretical intersections that dialogue with this sensitive and committed proposal, and is methodologically situated as a research-experiment, interweaving experience, theory, and creation. Thus, the work seeks not only to narrate a trajectory, but also to affirm the training of a teacher-artist who is guided by artistic performativities in childhood education, defending the construction of bridges between pedagogical and artistic practices that respect the uniqueness of the subjects and the playful-creative power of each encounter.
