Using a quantitative approach, questionnaires were applied to 23 faculty members, covering five dimensions. The results indicate that faculty instability, although not classified as formal turnover, largely stems from legal and temporary leaves that affect the continuity of work and institutional ties, leading to overload and discontinuity in academic activities. The “Management and Leadership” dimension presented the lowest average scores, revealing weaknesses in listening, recognition, and communication processes. Mid-career faculty members showed a greater tendency toward turnover, while more experienced individuals cited external factors as the main influences. Although formal resignations were uncommon, signs of emotional detachment and weakened institutional ties were observed. Respondents suggested that retention is more closely linked to organizational and relational aspects than to salary alone.
