Ansiedade e marcadores de consumo alimentar em estudantes universitários da FACISA - UFRN. 2025. 29f. Trabalho de Conclusão de Curso (Graduação em Nutrição) - Faculdade de Ciências da Saúde do Trairi, Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte, Santa Cruz, 2025.https://repositorio.ufrn.br/handle/123456789/61319Introduction: Diet has been associated with mental disorders such as anxiety, with university students being more prone to this disorder due to various factors, including academic demands imposed by the university. Objective: To investigate anxiety levels and dietary consumption markers among students of FACISA-UFRN. Materials and Methods: This cross-sectional study was conducted with undergraduate students in nursing, physical therapy, nutrition, and psychology courses, using the Trait Anxiety Inventory (IDATE-T) and the dietary consumption markers form (version 3.0). Results and Discussion: Seventy-three students participated, the majority being female (76.7%). Psychology students showed higher trait anxiety scores, lower consumption of fiber-rich foods (beans, fruits, and vegetables), and higher consumption of ultra-processed foods. Most nutrition students consumed ultra-processed foods but also consumed fiber-rich foods and other important nutrients. Conclusion: Disordered eating patterns may be associated with higher levels of anxiety, and such episodes may lead to poor food choices, resulting in the occurrence of non-communicable chronic diseases, such as obesity.Attribution-NoDerivs 3.0 Brazilhttp://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nd/3.0/br/AnsiedadeUniversitáriosConsumo alimentarAnsiedade e marcadores de consumo alimentar em estudantes universitários da FACISA - UFRNAnxiety and food consumption markers in university students at FACISA - UFRNbachelorThesis
