In intensive care, the use of this nutritional therapy is very common, given the greater need for nutritional care in critically ill patients, who are at greater risk of developing malnutrition. To evaluate the quality of service at a University Hospital in the city of Natal, in Rio Grande do Norte, the Nutritional Quality Indicators in Enteral Therapy for critically ill patients in intensive care were analyzed: frequency of diarrhea, frequency of constipation, frequency of abdominal distension and frequency of glycemic changes. Methods: This is an observational, longitudinal and prospective study, with non-probabilistic sampling, which will evaluate nutritional assistance based on 4 Quality Indicators of Enteral Nutritional Therapy in adult and elderly patients in the intensive care unit of the Hospital Universitário Onofre Lopes , in Natal/RN. Results: 1946 records were analyzed, with only those from the Intensive Care Unit in ENT being eligible for this work, totaling 80 records. Of the 4 indicators, two obtained satisfactory results and two exceeded the targets established by the International Life Sciences Institute (ILSI).
