It is a general search to analyze the relationship of fear and insecurity in the landscape of the city landscape, in Parnamirim, considering the reality of the Emmaus neighborhood. At Emmaus, increased crime led residents to seek mitigation measures to mitigate the damage caused by violence, such as: higher walls, electric fence, serpentine fence, cameras installed in homes and part of the neighborhood. In addition to these elements, the recent entry of vertical condominiums is also analyzed as one of the elements of these security strategies and as a landscape modifier. The research is anchored in strategies of in situ observation / description, field diary, bibliographical survey, articles and sites, application of questionnaires and interviews with residents, besides the photographic record - in which the materialization of the feelings present in the place is presented.
