After each calibration, it has issued a calibration certificate, which should contain the requirements according to the established standards for the specific instrument. It was created an interface in order to follow standards and provide an intuitive user platform, to automate the Universal Testing Machine calibration certificate’s creation. Excel was used to achieve this goal, along with Visual Basic for Application (VBA) language. Combining these tools made it possible to achieve this project’s goal. It was performed a test to demonstrate the success, with information from a calibration already performed at Laboratório de Metrologia from Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte. It was issued a certificate after a successful automation operation according to standards NBR ISO/IEC 17.025 and NBR ISO/IEC 7.500-1 requisites. From this Excel platform, it was possible to issue the Universal Testing Machine document faster and standardized.
