This study was defined in view of the problem of instability of the scheduled indicator, which has a significant impact on the service provided by the Clinical Engineering Team (CET), which directly influences the patient's experience. In view of this, the objective is to apply the Lean Healthcare methodology as a tool to aid in strategic planning for continuous improvement in the percentage of scheduled maintenance and, consequently, to reduce the number of corrective maintenance of equipment present in the CC of a public maternity hospital. In this study, the scheduled maintenance processes carried out from September/2021 to September/2022 in the sector in question were mapped, assessing the main needs and impacts for delivering the PMP indicator, through the review of reports and data from the internal management system Neovero. In this context, articles on the use of this methodology were used, as well as the appropriate tools for managing medical and hospital equipment. It is also an object of study, the analysis of the executed schedule, taking into account the elaboration criteria, highlighting the workforce of the employees who carry out the maintenance.
