Natal, RN, 2018.https://repositorio.ufrn.br/handle/123456789/47987The interest for the topic was raised during the first curricular stage, in Early Childhood Education, where we noticed the absence of a teacher in the area of Physical Education in this stage of Basic Education. Thus, the general objective is to understand how, from the perspective of the pedagogue, Physical Education and Physical Education teacher can contribute to the pedagogical practice at this level of education effectively. The methodology is a qualitative descriptive research. As a tool for collecting information, a questionnaire was used with 5 questions open to 11 pedagogues and 2 pedagogical coordinators from three CEMEI's located in the Northern Zone of Natal-RN. The screen research is justified by the appreciation of the Physical Education teacher and by the importance of the discipline of Physical Education in Early Childhood Education.
