In view of this, the present work focused on the analysis and discussion of access to public basic sanitation services in the administrative areas of the municipality of Natal/RN, showing possible inequalities and deficits to achieve the universalization of basic sanitation in the city. For this, a survey was carried out in official sources of the municipality responsible for providing and regulating basic sanitation services, as well as the Municipal Basic Sanitation Plan of Natal. For the study, service indicators were selected in the four sectors: Water Supply, Sanitary Sewage, Urban Cleaning and Drainage, in order to investigate and draw service profiles, thus making it possible to compare them at the end of the work, showing which areas are favored by the provision of these services and which areas lack them. According to the data exposed, it is concluded that Natal suffers from inequalities in access to basic sanitation services, with the identification of the worst coverage rates in areas with a tendency to concentrate the population in a situation of social vulnerability, such as the North and West Zones. .
