Thus, the objective of this work is to present analyzes of scientific articles through a literature review around the participation of this audience in physical education classes and their interaction with the environment. The methodology adopted is a qualitative systematic review of 12 articles selected in the Movimento, Pensar a Prática, Motriz and RBCE journals, which fit the descriptors used. According to the results, it was possible to verify that the inclusion is still ineffective and that in most cases it causes an exclusion. It was also possible to notice the similarity between 6 articles that brought the vision and perception of teachers, while the other 6 were more focused on observation and reports from the students' point of view. In conclusion, that students with Down syndrome have a great interest in participating in classes and that their characteristics do not prevent this action, but they still face several physical, procedural and attitudinal barriers that bar their inclusion in physical education classes. And yet, he points out that the greatest difficulty for this audience is social interaction, and it is also possible to note the deficit in the training and education of professionals in the area, in addition to the lack of studies that address this subject, specifically with this audience.Inclusão Escolar; Síndrome de Down; Deficiência intelectual.A participação de alunos com Síndrome de Down na Educação Física Escolar: uma revisão sistemáticabachelorThesis
