In this way, the aim of this study was to evaluate the pulmonary function, physical capacity and quality of life of obese women in the city of Santa Cruz - RN. The objective of the cross-sectional type approved by the Ethics Committee of the Faculty, with the number of opinion 1245059. Twenty-six female volunteers were recruited, and by signing the informed consent form (TCLE). For pulmonary function was used A spirometer for analysis of the FVC variables; (FEV1); (FEF25-75%); (PEF). The physical capacity assessed through the Incremental Shuttle Walking test, and a quality of life through the SF-36 questionnaire. As a result, we can observe the type of obstruction in lung function; decrease of the previous walk without physical ability test, and not SF-36, decrease in the domain around a general state of health, followed by pain.
