Popular sayings are part of Brazilian intangible cultural heritage. They are composed of the cultural contributions of the people who formed the cultural identity of the Brazilian nation. To highlight the importance of this knowledge, I decided to compose photos using the Tableau Vivant technique, taking inspiration from concepts extracted from popular sayings that are in my affective memory. The photographs that make up the Dito em Cena series form narratives through the hybridization between image and word.
