PEATE por condução óssea com estímulo de frequência específica em neonatos: revisão integrativa da literatura e série de casos clínicos. 2021. 52 p. Trabalho de Conclusão de Curso (Graduação em Fonoaudiologia) - Curso de Fonoaudiologia, Departamento de Fonoaudiologia, Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte, Natal, 2021.https://repositorio.ufrn.br/handle/123456789/36056Purpose: to analyze the protocol used and the normative standards of the auditory brainstem evoked potential by bone conduction with tone burst stimulus in children. Methods: a search was carried out in national and international databases, and in the virtual libraries of higher education institutions through the strategy (Evoked Potentials, Auditory, Brain Stem) AND (Infant OR child *) AND (tone burst OR frequency specific). Studies published in Portuguese, English or Spanish that met the research objective were included. Clinical cases with neonates were also inserted. Quantitative analysis, characterization of the protocols for the examination, evaluation of the results obtained and the level of evidence were used. Results: four studies were included. The protocol differed between the surveys, and the electrophysiological thresholds ranged from 11.3 to 14.4 dB nNA, 14.4 to 20.25 dB nHL, 12.9 to 40 dB nNA and 17.7 to 27.5 dB nHL, at 0.5, 1.0, 2.0 and 4.0 kHz. In the series of clinical cases, the electrophysiological thresholds obtained a median of 20, 20, 25 and 20 dB nHL for these same frequencies. Conclusion: the literature is restricted and additional studies are important. The preliminary results obtained indicate the feasibility of including this procedure in clinical protocols.
