Dor e percepção subjetiva de esforço durante treinamento de baixa carga com restrição de fluxo sanguíneo e treinamento de alta carga em pacientes com osteoartrite de joelho: Ensaio clínico randomizado e cego. 2022. 51f. Trabalho de Conclusão de Curso (Graduação em Fisioterapia), Departamento de Ciências da Saúde, Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte, Natal, 2022.https://repositorio.ufrn.br/handle/123456789/45903This study compared pain and rating of perceived effort (RPE) responses between low-load resistance training with blood flow restriction (LLT-BFR) and high-load resistance training (HL-RT) throughout a rehabilitation program for patients with knee osteoarthritis (KOA). 23 patients with KOA were randomly allocated and performed two weekly sessions on alternate days, for 12 weeks of low-load (10% of 1-RM) and BFR (60% of total occlusion pressure) or high-load (60% of 1-RM) exercise without BFR. Every three weeks, we calculated the arithmetic mean for pain, RPE and training volume outcomes, totaling four evaluation moments for data analysis. There was a slight reduction in pain and in perceived exertion during exercise and throughout the sessions for both groups, with no statistical difference between them (p>0.05). In conclusion, LLT-BFR and HI-RT show similar behavior for pain and rating of perceived effort responses during and throughout 24 exercise sessions.Dor no JoelhoPercepção Subjetiva de EsforçoOclusão VascularExercício ResistidoDor e percepção subjetiva de esforço durante treinamento de baixa carga com restrição de fluxo sanguíneo e treinamento de alta carga em pacientes com osteoartrite de joelho: Ensaio clínico randomizado e cegoPain and rating of perceived effort during low-load training with blood flow restriction and high-load training in patients with knee osteoarthritis: a randomized, blinded clinical trialbachelorThesis
