Trabalho de Conclusão de Curso na modalidade de Artigo (Bacharelado Interdisciplinar em Humanidades) - Instituto Humanitas de Estudo Integrado, Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte, Natal, 2024https://repositorio.ufrn.br/handle/123456789/59507The financialization of life has been consolidated in capitalist society because it is a process derived from the deepening of capital. The aim was to understand this fact by looking at the routine of buying and selling, the production and circulation of consumer goods, credit and the abstraction of money as a concrete currency. To this end, it is argued that technological advances emerge as an important support to facilitate, accelerate and shorten time and space and the environment where market relations occur. These also engender in the subject a logic of valorization that models his attitudes, actions and reactions based on an imaginary: the maxim of free will, full freedom and success based on oneself. This is what can be conceptualized as the neoliberal Homo economicus. Consequently, it turns out that the dimensions that are abstracted in the field of politics, economics and commerce are effectively those that establish a subjectivity forged in the capitalist fetish, which instigate, from the valorization of value, an acute crisis in the subject in fact – where work, production and consumption have as a counterpart capture devices that manifest themselves in taxes, income and profit. Concluding then that the financialization of life has as a specific and no less important purpose individualized subjects, precarious work and the constant encouragement of the perpetuation of these processes, which have a firm apparatus in neoliberalism.CC0 1.0 Universalhttp://creativecommons.org/publicdomain/zero/1.0/financeirizaçãosubjetivaçãoneoliberalismodívidaFinaceirização e subjetivação: uma agenda de pesquisaFinancialization and subjectivation: a reasearch agendabachelorThesis
