Prevalência de Acinetobacter sp. em superfícies hospitalares associada a infecções cruzadas em pacientes hospitalizados: uma revisão sistemática. 2019. 42f. Trabalho de Conclusão de Curso (Graduação em Biomedicina) - Centro de Biociências, Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte, Natal, 2019.https://repositorio.ufrn.br/handle/123456789/43204The bacterial genus Acinetobacter, especially Acinetobacter baumannii, is at the top of the list proposed by the World Health Organization as a priority microorganism that needs research regarding the development of new antimicrobials. In addition, it is a species frequently involved in infections related to health care and this presence in the hospital environment is a risk factor for the transmission of this pathogen cross-linking. In this scenario, the objective was to carry out a systematic review in order to evaluate the possible causal relationship between the prevalence of A. baumannii in hospital surfaces and a cross-over transmission for hospitalized patients. For this purpose, a bibliographic search was carried out in some scientific databases, using specific descriptors and languages and establishing the period of time and the criteria of inclusion and exclusion. After analyzing and selecting the publications found, only five were fit to be included in this research. After analyzing the selected publications, it was possible to observe that despite the evidence presented in the research on the occurrence of cross infections, none establishes a causal relationship with the presence of Acinetobacter sp. in the hospital environment.Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivs 3.0 Brazilhttp://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/3.0/br/AcinetobacterSuperfícies hospitalaresInfecção cruzadaPrevalência de Acinetobacter sp. em superfícies hospitalares associada a infecções cruzadas em pacientes hospitalizados: uma revisão sistemáticaPrevalence of Acinetobacter sp. on hospital surfaces associated with cross-infection in hospitalized patients: a systematic review.bachelorThesis
