The discussion is based on the process of global warming and climate change, impacted by the burning of fossil fuels. In order to minimize/attenuate greenhouse gas emissions, attempts are being made to implement policies that can diversify the global energy matrix in favor of a greater representation of modern renewable sources of electricity generation. It is in this context that wind power plays a fundamental role in allowing a cooling of environmental damage, and Brazil, as one of the protagonists in this process, plays an important role in contributing not only to maintaining its renewable electricity matrix, but, above all, in a diversified way with the insertion of new renewable sources of electricity generation, such as wind, solar and modern biomass, thus minimizing the effects caused by the intensive use of fossil energy sources as a structuring basis for establishing economic development plans throughout the 20th century and during the 21st century.
