The study investigates how mediation can transform legislative dynamics by promoting collaborative solutions in light of the limitations of the Department of Mediation and Conciliation (Resolution No. 80/2024). Grounded in frameworks such as Law No. 13.140/2015 and Resolution No. 125/2010 of the National Council of Justice, the research adopts a qualitative approach and the inductive method, combining document analysis and literature review, interpreted through Bardin’s (2011) content analysis technique. The findings suggest that the Committee, structured with qualified managers and mediators, can reduce costs and litigation, strengthen ethical standards in institutional relations, and foster a culture of peace, despite challenges such as cultural resistance and data protection concerns. The proposal, detailed in the draft Act of the Board of Directors, offers an autonomous and adaptable model, with stages for diagnosis, design, and implementation of consensual solutions.
