In this way, the management of water resources seeks sustainable alternatives that help mitigating the problem of scarcity. Among these alternatives, this study highlights the rainwater utilization, and the use of water produced through the air condensation by air-conditionings, which can be used in activities that don’t require a high quality of water, such as the water used in the fire technical reserve and in the sanitary discharges of the Nucleus of Technological Innovation of the Federal Univesity of Rio Grande do Norte, Natal-RN. The study indicates 8,00m³ of water to the fire technical reserve and 18,84 m³/month to the monthly demand of toilet bowls discharges, showing that these uses can be supplied by the rainwater stored in one reservoir with 10m³ and by the water produced by the air-conditionings, considering 8 hours daily operation during 20 days for month. Besides that, the time of payback calculated in this study was 5,6 years, considering R$ 13.868,21 to the implantation cost and R$ 2.473,20 to the annual economy.
