Methods: Elderly patients attended at UFRN / FACISA, were divided into three groups: Mild Cognitive Impairment Group (GMCI), Parkinson's Disease Group (GPD) and Healthy Elderly Group (GHE). Ten motor and cognitive instruments were used, a socio demographic questionaire and posturographic evaluation in 5 conditions: 1. Ortostatism, with open eyes, 2. Ortostatism, with closed eyes, 3. Ortostatism, speak months of the year from behind, 4 Ortostatism, talk the months of the year backwards with instrumental music, 5. Ortostatism, talk the months of the year backwards with pop music Results: The simple TUG presented higher value in the PD group (p = 0.05). The addition of cognitive task of verbal fluency (citation of months in a retrograde way) associated with instrumental and pop music, altered parameters of static postural control in the three groups, compared to the simple task condition with open and closed eyes. Conclusions: It was observed that the addition of pop and instrumental music altered posturographic variables in the elderly for the three groups in comparison to the simple task.embargoedAccessDoença de Parkinson, disfunção cognitiva, música.Parkinson’s disease, cognitive dysfunction, music.A música interfere na execução de dupla tarefa em idosos saudáveis e neurológicos?Does music interfere in the execution of dual task on healthy and neurological older subjects?bachelorThesis
