The objective was to analyze how Mução utilizes storytelling to celebrate and perpetuate Northeastern culture, highlighting elements that make his narratives memorable and impactful. The research also aimed to assess the impact of these stories on the local community. The methodology adopted was based on a qualitative approach, utilizing a case study. Interviews, direct observations, and analysis of audiovisual and documentary materials were conducted. Data triangulation ensured the robustness and validity of the results. The findings demonstrated that Mução uses elements such as audience identification, humor, emotion, and local cultural references to create engaging narratives. These stories not only entertain but also reinforce the Northeastern cultural identity and promote a sense of belonging. Furthermore, Mução emphasizes the importance of valuing cultural roots and the pride of being Northeastern, regardless of the size of one's hometown. The study revealed that storytelling has a significant impact on people's lives, offering hope and inspiration, especially in difficult times. Mução uses humor as a tool to face adversities and promote resilience. For future research, it is suggested to explore the impact of storytelling in other regions of Brazil and investigate how different media can be integrated to promote local culture. Additionally, it would be interesting to analyze the role of digital storytelling in educational contexts. In conclusion, storytelling is a powerful tool for maintaining and celebrating Northeastern culture, and the integration of emerging technologies can expand its reach and impact.
