Aplicativos móveis utilizados na reabilitação de pacientes com Acidente Vascular Encefálico: uma revisão de escopo. 2024. 56f. Trabalho de Conclusão de Curso (Graduação em Engenharia Biomédica), Departamento de Engenharia Biomedica, Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte, Natal, 2024.https://repositorio.ufrn.br/handle/123456789/59627Stroke is a disease of the vascular system that affects the central nervous system. Affected individuals, in general, present sequelae and require rehabilitation, which is monitored by professionals from multiple areas. As the therapeutic process, in most cases, is medium to long term, strategies that facilitate the inclusion and frequency of rehabilitative exercises are fundamental in the context of life after a stroke. Therefore, this scoping review aims to map mobile applications specifically aimed at use in the rehabilitation of stroke patients, which do not require non-conventional devices other than the smartphone. Studies were selected that presented applications dedicated to rehabilitation after stroke, and which were tested on patients with this pathology. Searches were carried out in three different databases: Medline, Institute Of Electrical And Electronics Engineers (IEEE) and Web Of Science, resulting, after the screening steps, in 19 studies with 20 applications described. The most common type of rehabilitation was physical rehabilitation (9 studies) followed by speech therapy (8 studies). Studies were also screened that brought applications aimed at educational guidance for the patient (4 studies) and another for hemineglect. Exclusive mobile applications for therapy for stroke patients have become increasingly present in the aforementioned rehabilitation scenario. However, this text did not delve into the impacts of the use of these technologies on the participants' lives, only the characteristics of the selected applications.
