The 1-minute sit-and-stand test (1-STS) has been proposed as an alternative for functional assessment in this population; in addition, abnormal heart rate (HR) recovery after exertion is associated with worse functional status and stands out for being a predictor of mortality. This study aims to analyze the chronotropic response in individuals with PH during 1-STS. Methods: This was an observational cross-sectional study, carried out at the Onofre Lopes University Hospital and approved by the ethics committee, with individuals diagnosed with PH, paired with a control group of the same age and gender. The groups underwent clinical, anthropometric, pulmonary function, respiratory muscle strength and cardiac assessment in the 1-STS. Results: The HP group (11) presented lower parameters in lung function and respiratory muscle strength (p = 0.02), lower performance in the 1-STS (p = 0.01) and abnormal chronotropic recovery (p = 0.007), when compared to healthy individuals. In addition, there was a moderate negative correlation between perceived exertion (BORG) and HR behavior (rest r = -0.86, p = 0.001; end r = -0.63, p = 0.03; recovery 2 min r = -0.67, p = 0.02). Conclusion: The HP group showed abnormal chronotropic performance of HR recovery in the 1-STS. Recovery HR at 2 minutes after exertion can be a clinical prognostic measure to provide relevant information and guide assistance for exercise prescription and rehabilitation.pt-BRAttribution 3.0 Brazilhttp://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/3.0/br/Hipertensão PulmonarFrequência CardíacaTeste de EsforçoEstado Funcional.Pulmonary HypertensionHeart RateExercise TestFunctional StatusAnálise do comportamento cronotrópico em pacientes com hipertensão pulmonar durante o teste de senta e levanta de 1 minutobachelorThesis
