Dissertação (Mestrado Profissional em Arquitetura, Projeto e Meio Ambiente) - Centro de Tecnologia, Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte, Natal, 2021.https://repositorio.ufrn.br/handle/123456789/45307This Course Final Paper (TCC), consisting of a report and supporting memorandum, in addition to the technical project, presents the theoretical and technical foundations and the strategies chosen for the development of the architectural project of a museum, which should encourage the use of the senses from the user experience in the built environment, aimed at photographic exhibitions. Considering as an object of study, museum architecture and human sensory perception from the use of photography as a source of information, research instrument and form of artistic expression, the general objective of the work is to design a museum that demonstrates how the museological experience through the image and the use of the senses, it can contribute to the historical-cultural education and artistic expression of society. To develop the project, a theoretical-conceptual deepening was initially carried out, seeking authors related to the themes of museology, phenomenology and photography, in addition to analyzing related projects, as a way of expanding the repertoire and study of solutions. Then, the architectural program was developed, with definition of dilemmas and project goals. Subsequently, the concept of the project proposal was defined, followed by the architectural design. From this base, and with the help of the curricular components of the course, the design process was developed and mapped, through various forms of registration, from the initial stages of studies of conditions, conception and development of architectural decisions. So, the proposed building consists of four floors, distributed in a plot of 4552.20 m², totaling 2321.83 m² of built area. A living area was also designed so that activities independent of the museum could be developed. On the ground floor there are rooms with collective activities, such as the café, the auditorium, the classroom and the library. The museum tour takes place on the second and third floors. At the last floor, the lookout and the restaurant are present. The steps described above were fundamental for the final proposal to be elaborated and the objective of this work to be achieved. Thus, it is considered that the contribution of this project involves qualitative aspects in the impact on the city and quantitative aspects in relation to the number of people that will be reached, in addition to the added economic values of innovation, due to the interaction with users from the exploration of the sensory field. It is a place, therefore, that invites the user and the city to a provocation, based on interacting, feeling and thinking, with each experience lived – and felt – in the museum space.Acesso AbertoProjeto arquitetônicoMuseuSensorialMuseu da imagem: proposta arquitetônica de um museu sensorialmasterThesis
