Objective - To identify the contribution of pharmacists in interdisciplinary teams of integrative and complementary practices in health (PICS) for patients with depression and anxiety in primary care. Methodology - An integrative review was conducted from March to June 2024 using studies published in international journals available in databases such as ScienceDirect and SciELO over the last five years. Results and Discussion - The database search yielded 1,242 published articles, of which only 6 were selected based on criteria and eligibility to compose the integrative review. The results show a decrease in medication usage and a reduction in the frequency of mental disorders; respondents positively accepted the use of PICS, and there was also acceptance by professionals in implementing PICS in the public health system. Conclusions - Studies show effectiveness in adherence to pharmacological treatment in conjunction with Integrative and Complementary Practices in Health (PICS).
