It is a bibliographic research of a descriptive and exploratory nature, which sought scientific references in the Google Scholar and CAPES databases. After applying inclusion and exclusion criteria, 25 publications were selected for thematic exploration and analysis of results. The study revealed that most of the analyzed works did not present significant results regarding the relationship between ESG and financial performance, but indicated that there are benefits for organizations that adopt this profile of sustainable practices in social, environmental, and governance areas.
