It aims to systematize, from the perspective of a social worker resident in Maternal and Child Health, the experience of professional work with the Sexual and Reproductive Planning Group (Planus), at Hospital do Seridó (HS), located in city of Caicó RN. Multiprofessional Health Residencies are in-service training policies and processes that directly articulate the University, health equipment, (multiple)professional teams and service users; that way, Multiprofessional Health Residencies are important spaces to reflect on the University-Unified Health System-society relationship. The Planus Group is a space dedicated to promoting information about contraceptive methods and access to definitive methods, such as tubal ligation and vasectomy. This report uses the Field Diaries as an instrument for “recording what has been experienced”, which were analyzed based on a guidebook. The main challenges of the Planus Group stood out: the sometimes inadequate physical space for meetings, leading to improvised situations and the lack of greater preceptor-resident integration.
