Monografia (Especialização) - Curso de Residência Multiprofissional em Atenção Básica, Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte, Caicó, 2022.https://repositorio.ufrn.br/handle/123456789/47046Given the dimension that multiprofessional residency programs in health have acquired in recent years in the context of human resource training in and for the Unified Health System (SUS), this study focused on analyzing the training process of Social Workers inserted in the space of the Progarama de Residência Multiprofissional em Atenção Básica (PRMAB), in the municipality of Caicó/RN, linked to the Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN), through the Escola Multicampi de Ciências Médicas (EMCM). To this end, the research aimed to analyze the formative process of Social Workers inserted in the space of the Programa de Residência Multiprofissional em Atenção Básica, in the municipality of Caicó, in order to understand the contributions and challenges of this specialization modality in continuing education through in-service teaching. The methodological path was based on the dialectical-critical approach, using the Marxist historical materialism as a method from successive approaches to the issues involving the object of study, in which field research was conducted, of an exploratory and explanatory nature, through the quanti-qualitative approach, in order to relate the data in a dialectical and critical way, from the survey of primary data. For the fundamentation, it highlights the literature review in order to deepen the theoretical referential on the theme, seeking to apprehend the explanatory categories of the reality as: professional training, health policy, multiprofessional residency in health and in-service teaching, with data treatment through the technique of Content Analysis. As a contribution, it emphasizes fostering the process of improvement of PRMAB/EMCM, through the evaluation of the resident graduates. In addition to contributing to the implementation of a program that has a significant impact on the training of professionals and dialogue with the real needs of health services and the community.
