Methodology: This study is an integrative literature review. The research took place during the months of October and November 2019 in the Virtual Health Library (VHL) Regional Portal where the Scientific Electronic Library Online (SCIELO) and Medical Literature Analysis and Retrieval System Online (MEDLINE) databases were selected; and the Latin American and Caribbean Health Sciences Information System (LILACS). For this, the following descriptors were used: (Emergency Medical Services) AND (Nursing) AND (Urgencies). Results: 17 articles were selected in the categories performance and knowledge of nurses about mobile prehospital care. Conclusions: Nurses need specific training to work in this area, as well as constant updating.
