Method: Prospective analytical and descriptive cross-sectional study, with 134 subjects aged 6 to 69 years, divided into groups of children, adolescents, adults and elderly people, whose data were collected in a school and academic environment. Among the procedures performed, there is meatoscopy, audiometric screening and research on the Speech Recognition Threshold in Digits in Noise Test on two devices, a smartphone and a computer, with antiphase DIN on both. The Shapiro-Wilks normality test was applied, as well as the Wilcoxon test to compare the two conditions (cell phone x computer), the Mann-Whitney test was used to analyze the audiometric screening variables and the Kruskal Wallis test was used for analysis between age groups, adopting a significance level of 5%. Results: There was similarity in results when comparing performance by gender. On the other hand, there was a significant difference between the DIN results obtained by notebook and smartphone, as well as when analyzed between age groups. Conclusion: The DIN speech recognition threshold in Brazilian Portuguese is influenced by the device used for application, as well as the age group, and when applied on a smartphone, the DIN speech recognition thresholds were more negative when compared to those obtained from the same subjects with a computer.Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivs 3.0 Brazilhttp://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/3.0/br/TriagemAudiçãoTecnologiaAtendimento primário de saúdeScreeningHearingSmartphoneTechnologySoftwarePrimary health careTeste de dígitos no ruído (TDR) no português brasileiro: comparação dos resultados entre smartphone e computadorDigits in noise test in brazilian portuguese: comparison of results between smartphone and computerbachelorThesisCNPQ::CIENCIAS DA SAUDE
