The playfulness in playing, in the objects that are built as toys, in the games, recreations and other arts in the educational practice, help the construction of the teacher's protagonism in the preschool education classroom. From a clipping of experiences of early childhood teachers, using oral history as a source, it is demonstrated the significant role of the application of playfulness for a meaningful teaching-learning process for children.
