Method: this is a cross-sectional study, carried out from January to February 2024, with 135 primary health care professionals, from a municipality in Rio Grande do Norte, Brazil. An instrument produced by the researchers was used, adapted to a questionnaire already used by Ramos (2022). The questions were analyzed quantitatively, using frequencies and percentages, and qualitatively. As it was a primary study, the work was submitted to the Ethics Committee, obtaining a favorable opinion with CAAE 75841423.0.0000.5537. Results: 84.4% of professionals reported having some difficulty in the context of primary care.
