Considering this context, one of the practices carried out within the Institutional Teaching Initiation Scholarship Program, Biology Subproject, at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (PIBID-Biology/UFRN) was the development of the Educational Kit in a 3D Model, "The Human Body's Control Room: Understanding the Function of the Brain and Neurons." The objective of this resource is to simplify the teaching-learning process regarding the morphology and functions of structures of the Central Nervous System (such as neurons and the brain) in Basic Education, specifically in Science and Biology classes, through the use of three-dimensional models. In addition to the 3D models, the Kit includes support cards for activity implementation, designed to expand the possibilities for hands-on activities in the classroom.
