It ranges from writing to artistic composition, memories in narratives, both of the author's maternal ancestry and her experience in Capoeira Angola. Based on reflections on the original artistic and scientific manifestations, the relationship between body and word, the concept in performing arts called “Griot Body” is proposed. The body that originates its trajectory primarily in the community(ies) of oral tradition and consequently in the performing arts, and that when creating, moving, arguing scenically, transflows into its corporeal speech, its ancestry.
