The object of study of this monograph is the epistemic field of educommunication and its format in the offers of undergraduate courses in Brazil since 2013. The question that moves the research is: how is the epistemic field of educommunication and its offers of courses of graduation in Brazil? The general objective is to understand the theorization that supports the epistemic field of educommunication, as well as to analyze the offers of undergraduate courses in educommunication offered in Brazil from the following dimensions: historical context, theoretical framework, curriculum, organization and functioning of the courses. Methodologically, the study is a research with a qualitative approach, with an exploratory objective and inspired by the type of netnographic research, as it was developed entirely in an online environment (SOARES; STANGEL, 2021). The techniques used prioritized the literature review, document analysis and semi-structured interview (GIL, 2002). The research collaborating subjects were the two (02) coordinators of the educommunication graduations that take place at the Federal University of Campina Grande (UFCG) and at the University of São Paulo (USP), respectively. The analysis of research findings makes use of the thematic analysis technique developed by Minayo (2007).
