This phenomenon occurs so naturally observed in longer time scale, however from 1750, a period considered preindustrial, the man began to contribute to global climate change through the emission of greenhouse gases (GHGs), and thus changing the global temperature which results in accelerating the in sea level rise. Thus the objective of this research is through geoprocessing and GIS, using as a basis the models of the IPCC AR5 forecasts, show the possible areas affected by rising sea level in parts of the urban area of North Caiçara - Rio Grande do Norte for the year 2100, and thus provide support to decision makers responsible for the region.
