To carry out the study, a descriptive research was conducted, addressing the quantitative problem, raising the costs of the current manual production process of the company and the automation investment to be made, reaching the results of the investment analysis, thus being performed through a case study using also a bibliographic research. For data analysis was based on the course With Science, which is offered to companies to automate the production of kombucha. Through the course, and with the indication of the most reliable supplier and the best machine cost, the necessary procedures for the feasibility study were performed. From a visit to the production site, it gathered the observed production results with the company-provided documents needed to raise the cost of the manual process against the results that automation will deliver. Thus, to evaluate the project's viability for the entity, some investment analysis methods were used, which were evaluated over a 5-year period, defining as a Minimum Attractiveness Rate 40% according to the internal return estimated by the parties. resulting in the following values: net present value is R $ 354,677.42, the internal rate of return is 261% pa and the payback had a recovery time of 1.80 years.
