Relação entre a resposta de prazer em uma sessão de exercício físico, atitudes implícitas e explícitas com a atividade física espontânea e comportamento sedentário. 2019. 79f. Dissertação (Mestrado em Educação Física) - Centro de Ciências da Saúde, Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte, Natal, 2019.https://repositorio.ufrn.br/jspui/handle/123456789/28936Introduction: Physical inactivity is the biggest public health problem of the 21st century and a large portion of the population cannot reach the recommended levels, worldwide> 30% of adults and 50% of Brazilians report lower numbers than the minimum exercise recommendation for health promotion. In this context, the perception of pleasure along with unconscious relationships to exercise can impact the behavior of individuals for physical activity. Objective: To evaluate possible associations between acute affective responses in aerobic exercise with implicit and explicit attitude, physical activity behavior and sedentary behavior. Methods: Crosssectional, observational analytical study where participants were tested in a moderate-intensity exercise session and analyzed the correlation with the level of physical activity and sedentary behavior. The sample consisted of sedentary subjects of both sexes, aged 18–59 years. The effects of independent variables (affective response, implicit and explicit attitudes) on dependent variables (physical activity level and sedentary behavior) were verified. Data normality was verified by the Shapiro-Wilk test. Pearson's or Spearman's correlation was used to verify the relationship of affective responses, implicit and explicit attitudes to levels of physical activity and sedentary behavior. Multiple linear and linear regression was used to verify the association of behavior in physical activity. The significance level established was p <0.05. Results: Positive correlations were found between the implicit association with the affect mean at moderate intensity (r = .29; p = .038) and with moderate and vigorous physical activity (r = .35; p = .014). In linear regression analyzes, the results show that each unit of increase in implicit attitude represented an increase in moderate / vigorous physical activity (beta = 0.15; EP = 0.35; p =, 014) and increase in the affective response of moderate-intensity exercise (beta = 0.5; EP = 0.26; p = .038), change ratios being explained by 12% and 9% respectively. In the multiple regression analysis we found that the implicit attitude was associated with the levels of moderate and vigorous physical activity (β = 0.32; p = 0.029), whereas the average affective response was not associated with the behavior of moderate and vigorous physical activity. (β = 0.09; p = 0.546). The affective response in exercise along with the implicit attitude in the model explained in 13% the variation in moderate and vigorous physical activity (p = 0.041). Conclusion: A higher implicit attitude towards physical activity was associated with more positive affective responses in moderate-intensity exercise and a higher amount of moderate and vigorous physical activity.
