In this context, the objective of this work was to promote an active educational action on Diseases Related to Inadequate Environmental Sanitation (DRSAI) in a public elementary school. 26 students from a public school in the city of Currais Novos/RN participated in this action. For three days, theoretical and practical activities were carried out, such as questionnaires, gamification through Kahoot, a workshop on hand hygiene and a practice on the presence of microorganisms in water. The school's students participated with interest and organization in all proposed activities, learned about simple and effective strategies for treating drinking water and handled equipment (optical microscope and cultivation medium).
