The specific objectives are: to carry out a survey of the musical practices developed with people with Trisomy 21 (T21) in the project Musicalization UP (UP) in the period from 2019 to 2022; reflect on the experiences lived in the UP project; and to raise aspects to be considered in the musical education of people with Trisomy 21. The methodology used was the experience report. From this study it was possible to identify the main aspects that contributed to the musical development of students with Trisomy 21, namely: the detailed knowledge of the student; the creation of a routine for the application of educational-musical practices; the analysis of the activities developed and participation of the students; the adaptation of content and the use of resources; and report writing.
