In this direction, first we deal with aspects related to the nature and the properties of constructions; after that, we concentrate on issues that have to do with the relation form-function, more precisely, the tension between arbitrariness and iconicity and to the status of these two components of constructions. From a theoretical and methodological point of view, we are founded on the recent trend of approach called Usage-based (Functional) Linguistics, which is characterized by the connection between North-American Functionalism and Construction Grammar, as we can see in Cezario e Furtado da Cunha (2013), Oliveira e Rosário (2015). The discussion aims at defining conceptual and analytical adjustments for the investigation of linguistics phenomenaAttribution-NonCommercial 3.0 Brazilhttp://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc/3.0/br/ConstruçãoRelação forma-funçãoGramática de construçõesLinguística funcional centrada no usoConstructionForm and function relationConstruction grammarUsage-based linguisticsO pareamento forma-função nas construções: questões teóricas e operacionaisarticle
